Natalia Efremova, a Russian born pianist, was educated in the fusion of Russian and American musical cultures. She holds advanced degrees in piano performance, accompaniment, piano pedagogy, and chamber ensemble from Kyrgyz State Conservatory, Kazakh State Conservatory, and SUNY Potsdam; she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at the University of Texas, Austin. Natalia is the winner of numerous piano competitions in Kyrgyzstan and received an International Award for Best Performance of Contemporary Music for Central Asia and Kazakhstan.
